Silk screen printmaking is indeed a vision art form, this technique had been used and developed by Andy Warhol who was the main icon for the Pop Art era. Printmaking had become a style ever since. Silk screen printing is highly utilized in design and illustration art works. This art form is amazing when you apply high saturation of colors, and you can even put different layers to create dazzling effect. At the end, when you finished the printmaking, you will still find the warmness in it as if you are hand painting it.

In this course, students will learn how to make a few basic types of print screens, laying different colors, and to learn how to use different kinds of tools. Once you get the basic, you will be able to create your own very special printmaking.
▮ Using layering while creating silk screen printing can train one’s creativity. While building up different layers, our brains need to work on structuring and pre-run the final result.
▮ Basic knowledge is highly emphasized, yet teachers will prefer guiding students through experimentation. This will strengthen student’s ability in developing ideas.
