Course Introduction

Screen printing is a visual art form produced by means of printing. Under the guidance of pop artists represented by Andy Warhol, this technology has become a popular painting language and visual style in the world. The screen printing technology can not only be applied in art, but also widely used in various design and illustration creations. Flat, high-saturation colors, through the superposition and overprinting of different colors, can make silk screen prints dazzling. The visual effect can also maintain the temperature of hand-painting. Different methods of basic screen making, the principle of overprinting and overprinting, and the use of different tools will be taught in the classroom, so that students can discover their own creative methods after understanding the basic creative process.

 

Course Features

▮The creation of silk screen prints with layered thinking can exercise a person's spatial imagination, and the brain is required to compose pictures and train the preview-style imagination method when making them.

▮After learning the basic process well, the instructor will start from the perspective of experimentation and develop his own creative image placement method.

Programs

6-11 years old group | HKD 1400/ 4 lessons

Topics will be mainly related to daily lives. Students will learn related knowledge and production skills, including tools usages and materials application.

 

12-18 years old group | HKD 1500/ 4 lessons

As teenagers has more life experience, course will allow more freedom to make their own decision regarding their works. Teachers will help and carefully guide them to deepen and broaden the creative process, to help them with their expression and understandings.
